The most adventurous, but technical, climbing
skills required. This trip is booked by many -
a bit more expensive but worth it for frequent
climbers. The climb crossing the breath rain forest
gives you an open view of the glacier when you
reach the Shira Plateau situated in the middle
of the moorlands. There are standard to luxurious
lodges in Zanzibar. We have chosen Serena Inn
in Zanzibar at Stone Tone and Breezes Beach at
East Cost of Zanzibar. You will enjoy and experience
nature. We have our extremely qualified, knowledgeable
and competent mountain guides/porters, whom the
success of your climb will depend greatly on.
ITINERARY
Your ARRIVAL DAY
We will meet you at the Airport and transfer
to your Hotel for your overnight, BB.
DAY 1: MACHAME GATE - (1800m) MACHAME CAMP
(3000m)
After breakfast drive from Arusha to the Machame
Gate with your lunch box in a 4WD vehicle, introduction
to your guide and porters. Registration is done
and thereafter start climb {Hiking /Trekking}
with picnic lunch through rain forest for approximately
4 to 5 hrs where you arrive to the Machame Hut.
Later afternoon walk up to a little higher altitude
is done for acclimatization. Return to Machame
Hut for dinner and overnight. FB
DAY 2: MACHAME CAMP - (3000m) SHIRA CAMP (3800m)
After breakfast, start climb through short Savannah
forest and other vegetation for approximately
4 to 5 hrs, with picnic lunch en route before
arriving in the afternoon at the Shira Hut for
dinner and overnight.FB
DAY 3: SHIRA CAMP (3800m)
This extra day is needed for acclimatization
purposes FB
DAY 4: SHIRA CAMP - (3800m) BARRANCO CAMP
(3950m)
After breakfast a slow walk through semi
glacier
and sandy areas with picnic lunch 3 to 4 hrs before
arriving at the Barranco Hut for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: BARRANCO CAMP - (3950m) BARAFU CAMP
(4600m)
After breakfast, with picnic lunch enroute climb
through glaciers for approximately 4 to 5 hours
before arriving the Barafu Hut for dinner and
overnight. FB
DAY 6: BARAFU CAMP (4600m) STELLA POINT (5750m)
UHURU PEAK (5895m)
An early wake up call around 01.00hrs for preparation
and light breakfast before starting final ascent
to the summit i.e. either the Stella Point reached
in approximately 5 to 6 hrs and a further ascent
to the Uhuru Peak reached in another approx 45minutes.
After signing and short rest at Barafu Camp descend
via the Gilmans Point down to Mweka Camp for an
hours rest with light breakfast then descent down
for dinner and overnight at Mweka hut. FB
DAY 7: MWEKA CAMP (3100) MWEKA GATE-ARUSHA
After breakfast, final descent to Mweka gate,
thereafter say Goodbye to your Guide/Porters and
connect a private transfers to Arusha for overnight
at Olmotonyi Forest Plantation Rest House. FB
ZANZIBAR BEACH HOLIDAY
Day 8: ARUSHA to ZANZIBAR
By Flight (Precision Air) departs Arusha at 1100hrs
and arrive in Zanzibar at 1215hrs, meet &
greet at the airport and transfer to your chosen
hotel in town (Serena Inn) for overnight. HB
Day 9: EXCURSION in ZANZIBAR
After breakfast, pickup from your hotel for any
two tours mentioned (Spice, Historical stone town,
Jozani forest, Prison Island or Sunset cruise),
Dolphin tour on request. HB
Day 10: R & R (rest & relax)
At leisure and overnight at your hotel in town.

Day 11: STONE TOWN to EAST COAST
After breakfast transfers you to hotels at the
East Coast (Breezes Brach Club) for overnight.

Day 12 & 13: R & R
At leisure and overnight at your hotel. HB
Day 14: ZANZIBAR to DAR or ARUSHA or NAIROBI
to HOME
Pickup from your East Coast hotel and transfer
to Zanzibar airport for your flight to Dar-Es-Salaam
or Arusha (Kilimanjaro Airport or Nairobi (Jomo
Kenyatta Airport) in connection to your departure
flight back home.
