Comments: They provided a thoroughly enjoyable safari.

Although I was nervous booking and transferring money overseas, to our pleasant surprise everything went according to plan, including the arrangement of pre and post safari accommodation at the Impala Hotel in Arusha.

We had a comfortable vehicle and our tent was great - a very good size and kept us dry through storms, night after night. Apollo was our guide/driver and was extremely knowledgeable and proficient. He had to do some very challenging four wheel driving owing to a lot of rain and got us through every time without a hitch (others were not so lucky!!).

We saw so much wildlife right up close and personnel, including the Big 5 - and he was so patient when we just wanted to spend ages watching nature at its best. Our cook Bereggi (sorry I have no idea how he spells it?) was excellent also, providing absolutely fabulous meals!! The two of them made a trip to remember!

Overall, it was an excellent 8 days which allowed us to see the best of what Tanzania can offer on safari.

Comments:

We did the two day safari to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro crater. I was a bit worried at first that as we were taking the cheaper option we would miss out on seeing some animals or that we would still want more at the end - not true.

The 2 days were fantastic, we saw virtually all the animals we hoped to see (including a male lion pee on our jeep), stayed in the fantastic Lodge Safari in our own log fire cabin and by the end of it were ready to head to the beach.

Our tour guide was friendly and very informed. The only down side was that they messed up part of our itinerary so we had to leave the Ngorongoro crater about 4 hours early to fly back to Dar Es Salaam (relatively to two days this was quite a bit), and the day at the crater was definitely the better of the two.

It's nice to know someone actually is following up on how tourist are treated.
First of all, we had a great time and the tour provided was very good. Everything went off without any real problems. The guide was very good and the porters were incredile. Overall I would say I am very satisfied by the service provided.

The one thing I would say I was unhappy with was that when it came to the last day of our trek and time to tip "gift" the porters, the number suddenly went from the 8 we had every night in our camp to 12!! This left us with a bad after taste as we felt we were being tricked.
I think to overcome this the company organising should tell you exactly how many porters\guides are accompanying the client and how much is expected at the end.

I would recommend this operator to friends overall though, and we found the girl we dealt mainly with, Neema, to be very helpful and friendly to deal with.

I am happy to reply with feedback on the really fantastic trip we took at the end of May in 2009.

The tour operator did a professional job from beginning to end. We were met as planned at every juncture.

Our agent (Neema) was helpful all along the way during the planning. Our guide (Partson) quickly became friends to us. He was knowledgeable and professional. I am recommending them to friends at this time, and strongly suggesting they ask for the same guide.

We toured a different park in Tanzania each day, and slept in a different lodge ech night. The accommodatnios ands the food were excellent. We saw all the big five as well, which is rare for a first trip.

All in all, it was a perfect trip.

Jambo Edgar,

As to our email the other day here is our recommendation email for the tour and company. Thanks again and please feel free to use it to your needs. also feel free to allow people to email us for any questions etc they may have. Cheers

Recently we were lucky enough to travel for 2 weeks to the beautiful country of Tanzania. We were also lucky enough to find a Tour company called "Wonders of Creation" that provided us with the trip of a life time to the most amazing locations in the beautiful but mainly untouched Southern region of the country. The company and its staff were truly amazing with everyone from the director to the driver being friendly, helpful and extremely efficient.

The team at Wonders of Creation worked with us at all times from our initial emails of interest to achieve our needs and desires to fulfill a journey that wasn't full of tourists like the Northern circuits. It proved to be exactly what we wanted and we would highly recommend the Southern tour as the trip of a lifetime without all the cheesy tourist traps. Our journey started with us witnessing the amazing beasts and creatures of the largest game reserve in Africa-Selous whilst staying in amazing cabins on the Rufiji river at Mbega camp. From there we travelled to the beautiful Kilwa Seaside where we enjoyed a Dhow trip to an island full of beautiful relics. The accommodation at the Kilwa Seaview resort was exactly what was required after some busy days exploring the local villages and beaches in the area whilst enjoying an array of activities as well. From here we travelled to the beautiful Mikindani Bay an area that we immediately fell in love with and also the great people of the village. This was the perfect end to a perfect tour.
We'd be lying if we didn't say we were concerned about paying the initial deposit to a company we hadn't heard of before but the risk was well worth it and we would highly recommend if you are looking for a trustworthy company with the experience and knowledge of the whole of Tanzania to book with these guys. It will be the best money you will ever spend and it will be a truly rewarding experience.

Thanks again Wonders of Creation. We can't wait to come back and see you and Tanzania again.

Thanks
Dion and Lucja Leonard

Comments: We were and still are really enthusiastic about our holiday in Tanzania and Zanzibar and we want to post our good experiences.

First of all, the co-operation with this operator in Arusha and the services offered by them were really very, very good. Everything - and I mean everything - was really perfectly organized and worked out 100% well!

-Reception at Nairobi airport, transfer to hotel and to Arusha on the next day

-8 days of wonderful safari on our own with Huruma, our perfect driver, tour guide and who became our friend during these days. The national parks we visited (Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire) are really fantastic and Huruma presented to us so many animals and unforgettable impressions of pure Africa!

- the lodges chosen by us and/or recommended are very nice with perfect service, nice rooms/tents and good food.

- the flight to Zanzibar and the hotel in Stowntown were perfect. The local agent - a partner of this operator - perfectly organized all transfers and hotel check-ins in Zanzibar and we had very relaxing days at the Resort.

We would like to express our thanks to the operator and all their partners. Due to their engagement we spent a fantastic 2,5 weeks vacation in a very nice country. The combination of safari in perhaps Africa's most impressive national parks and the impressions of the spice island Zanzibar is a must and can only be recommended.

If you make your arrangements with them you are really well off!

Comments: I had a great time with this tour operator. They are a small tour company based in Arusha, with friendly staff, and were always prompt and reliable. Simon had everything organised when I arrived, and ensured that I was looked after.

I did the 14 day Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Beach Holiday - the parks in Tanzania were wonderful, and the accommodation was excellent. My photos of the wildlife turned out great. My tour guide was always happy to go places that we wanted to go to, over and above the set game drive.

Zanzibar was also a highlight. Ali looked after me in Zanzibar, with tours that I wanted to do. I would recommend this operator, as a friendly operator for small groups of people.

Comments: I am delighted to provide you my evaluation of the recent trip we took in Tanzania and Zanzibar. I am totally satisfied with the tour and I would like to state that this is one of our most memorable trip we have taken.

The Company delivered everything as stated/promised. There was nothing short-changed. The Company was most trustworthy.

The quality of the service was excellent. The four-wheel-drive vehicle was reliable. Our driver/guide was a very experienced person who was actually a ranger serving in Serengeti National Park for many years. He spotted animals quickly and explained to us the habits of
various animals, etc. He is a knowledgeable guy. Our driver/guide also kept the vehicle clear. You can imaging everyday after a long-day of safari going through winding dirt roads, the vehicle was always dirty and muddy. Our driver washed the vehicle and presented us a clean car every morning.

The Company!/s arrangement for us our tour in Zanzibar was also superb. They made sure that our accommodations were all arranged properly.

I did some comparison of the expenses incurred for this trip with some possible alternatives, particularly some other tour operators in USA. Actually, there is no comparison. I paid much less and obtain the same or even higher quality service as
advertised in many tour operators in USA.

I would recommend the Africa Guide and the Company without any reservations to all my friends.

Comments: It is nice to hear from you again and also a good chance to go back to the fantastic holiday I shared with my friends in Tanzania.

Our itinerary in Africa was Nairobi-Arusha-Lake Manyara-Lake Natron-Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Tarangire-Zanzibar. We loved every aspect of it from the very beginning: the beautiful and breath-taking landscapes, the animals roaming freely in the parks which we could have watched for hours, the magical starry nights spent in the tented camps, the walks along the white-sand beaches and the spice tour in Zanzibar, Stone Town, the sweet and gentle people we met. We found time also for some trekking and swimming in the river under a waterfall.

They provided us with fairly good services: they took us to all the sites we had asked them to and managed to solve some problems on the way (my luggage, which was missing at our arrival at Nairobi airport, had to be transferred and delivered to me some days later at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge!). Due to some damage caused to the Land Cruiser we were driving on by the awful roads' condition, on the third day we had to change car and, much to our disappointment , say good-bye to our appreciated guide Huruma, who was anyway replaced by another driver the morning after.

We wish to thank you once again for your assistance since we first contacted you.
I hope I shall have the chance to organize another journey through your agency.

Best regards.
Franca Cainelli

Comments: We recently have returned from a trip with this company to Kenya & Tanzania.

I wanted to tell you that the organization was spot on the choice of hotels/lodges was excellent as were the guides who look after us. We can't sing the praises high enough of this company.

First class.

Comments: Our trip with them was a complete success, they were very prompt in replying to my initial inquiry and all follow up requests for clarification, to the point that I made a firm booking at very short notice.

We travelled out 10 days after the initial inquiry and all the arrangements were in place. We really took a bit of a leap into the unknown and were pleasantly surprised at the level of service; our driver Guide & cook were both excellent, in terms of competence and personality, nothing was too much trouble.

The vehicle (Toyota land cruiser) was well maintained and comfortable. The camping equipment was good (tent did not leak). We were well advised to take good sleeping bags; the night temperature on the Ngorongoro crater was about 4 deg C. The game viewing was all that we hoped for, the Leopard memorable.

The Tanzanian are a friendly amiable people, easy to take to & the scenery spectacular I would not hesitate to recommend this company, if they can do it they will.
